Healing, Heartbreak & High Notes: What I’ve Been Writing About Lately
Music has always been my therapy.
Whether I’m working through heartbreak, grieving someone I’ve lost, or rediscovering the light in myself, songwriting has been the one place where I can tell the truth without holding back. Lately, I’ve been writing from a deeper place one where pain, love, and healing all live together. And I want to take you there with me.
This upcoming project is different. It’s still me sweet tone, rich harmonies, raw emotion but this time, it’s bolder. Braver. Unapologetically vulnerable.
I’ve cried through verses, rewritten hooks at 3am, and hit notes I didn’t even know I had in me. Some songs were born out of silence, others out of chaos. And every lyric comes from something real I’ve lived through. If you’ve ever loved someone who couldn’t love you back, if you’ve ever had to put yourself back together in pieces, if you’ve ever felt joy creep back in after the storm — this music is for you.
The title track of my upcoming EP, “Summer’s Mine,” is my declaration of renewal. It’s the sound of stepping back into my power after giving too much of it away. It’s a soft rebirth wrapped in sunshine, rhythm, and soul.
I can’t wait for you to hear it.
If you’ve been riding the highs and lows of your own emotional journey, I want you to know you’re not alone. Healing is messy. Beautiful. Loud. Quiet. And if I can sing through it, maybe it helps someone else feel seen.
Thank you for taking this ride with me.
Love + light,
Glorika
